Virginie et Nicolas, Lausanne

Virginie dirige une agence de communication et Nicolas est designer industriel, ils vivent dans un village du nord Lausannois, ils habitent un château. La bâtisse imposante datant du 17^ème siècle est entourée d’un magnifique parc aux arbres séculaires. Les murs épais et fenêtres étroites assombrissent passablement les lieux mais l’ambiance claire et dépouillée créée par Nicolas et Virginie rend l’appartement chaleureux et l’atmosphère agréable. On y trouve beaucoup d’objets design réalisés par Nicolas, c’est aussi son showroom. Il a installé son atelier dans le garage. Leur chienne Coconut s’accorde harmonieusement avec les lieux.

Virginie owns a design and communication agency and Nicolas is an industrial designer, they live in a village, north from Lausanne, in a castle. The impressive building was built in the 17^th century, it is surrounded by a wonderful park with centuries-old trees. Thick walls and narrow windows tend to darken the apartment, but Virginie and Nicolas have created a fresh and minimalist atmosphere and the place feels warm and homely. Several of Nicolas’ design pieces adorn the interior, he also uses the flat as his showroom. He has set up his workshop in the garage. Their dog Coconut blends harmoniously with the space.
