Marc, Lausanne

At Marc’s there are objects and pieces of furniture everyhwere. He lives in relative darkness. Therefore, there is an incredible number of lamps of all shapes and sizes. Marc loves piles. Book piles, magazine piles, mail piles, item piles, clothes piles. Walking around in his vast 250m2 loft, I go from one discovery to another with great satisfaction, a sense of browsing at a flea-market. His cat Betty keeps me company during my explorations. The loft is divided in several spheres ; kitchen and living room, bedroom, film viewing area, library and workshop, on the roof there’s a large terrace shared between all people living in the building, formerly a sweet factory.
